The Game Awards 2015 yang dilaksanakan pada 3 Desember 2015 waktu setempat atau 4 Desember 2015 WIB telah mengumumkan sebagian pemenangnya. Dari 22 kategori yang ada, dua puluh kategori telah diumumkan pemenangnya.
Rocket League, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, dan The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt adalah tiga game yang mendapatkan penghargaan terbanyak yaitu dua kategori, dengan The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt keluar sebagai pemenang Game of The Year.
Yang menarik adalah keluarnya Rocket League sebagai pemenang Best Sports/Racing Game mengalahkan nama besar seperti FIFA 16, PES 2016, dan NBA 2K16. Begitu juga dengan Her Story yang mampu mengalahkan Life is Strange, Tales from The Borderlands, dan The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt dalam kategori Best Narrative.
